James Sherrick spent nearly three decades as a real estate agent with Guarantee in Fresno, California, which included 14 years as the top agent in the county. During this period he also acquired, reconditioned, and sold more than 60 homes, while his annual sales exceeded $50 million as well as $26 million worth of brokered real estate. In addition to his strong sales record, James Sherrick excelled at developing and maintaining strong relationships with each client, with many clients returning for repeat services as they adjusted to changing lifestyles.

James Sherrick studied agricultural and landscaping at Pacific Christian College, and continues to enjoy gardening. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors. Outside of his professional activities, he is an active philanthropist who has hosted fundraisers for several local organizations, including a Break the Barriers fundraiser that generated $1.7 million dollars for a facility providing services to children and families living with autism. He has also raised funds and support for the Poverello House and Marjorie Mason Center shelters.
